Okay, I know my little car has a big tank, and the Distance to Empty was showing ****, so I'm pretty sure the poor car was licking the tank to stay alive... but $70?? holy frijoles!

OMG that so makes me cry cause I'm in the same position. The new Eos was $45 for about 12 gallons which is only 3/4 of a tank. I think I also have an 18 gallon tank...and with premium, $3.59 is nearly impossible to find. Why must style be so expensive. :( Life is hard.

$3.83 here for premium... and rising.

I hate to see what it is after labor day!

WTF -- a 20c/gal increase in, what, a couple of weeks?!?! (Regular was $3.30-$3.40/gal when I was out there...)

Regular here in Atlanta is around $2.90/gal. :p

My car no likie the cheap stuff. Someone on the G35 forums a while back actually had compared the different grades and found the G got worse gas mileage at the lower octane. Although, at this point, the price difference between the grades is high enough that it might be cheaper now to take the performance hit.

Fortunately, one tank will last me 2-2.5 weeks

heh. no, the auto cut off happened at like $69 and some change, so I decided to shoot for $69.69, 'cuz I'm 12 like that. I missed, so I just pumped until the auto cut off hit again.

Just a little G35. I'm not sure where the gas tank goes. I think it might be half the car.

About a week ago, my Saturn sedan was just under ¼ tank... I filled up at the Hy-Vee gas station (where the daily discount was 6¢/gallon)... and $20 still didn't fill up my little 12 gallon tank. I shudder to think of what it would have been like at LA prices.

and this is why i <3 costco.

2.79 the other day for reg, 2.84 for premium i think. around my house, 2.91, in the city, 3.02.

the fact that my little corolla is taking 30+ bucks to fill up is scary, especially since now i have to actually drive to get to work...30 miles or so, which is about a gallon, but no more going 3 weeks without a fill up.

man, i remember when i could fill up my last corolla for less than 10 bucks.

Dude, mine was $70 to fill up too. I didn't pay attention to the price per gallon, and it was $4.09!!!!! Seriously, nearly $300 a month for gasoline is ridiculous.

Over here I spend about $50-$60 every 7-10 days. I drive a Mazda3 Maxx Sport and supposedly relatively cheap fuel wise at about 9 litres per 100km. But that's Australian Dollars and in Litres and Kilometers. I don't have the strength to do the conversions. $70 every 2-2.5 weeks seems about right to me figuring the money conversion etc.
