Public Service Announcement
You know those dish brushes that hold dishwashing liquid in the handle so you can squirt soap onto your dishes (see pic)?

Well, so before you stick the brush in the dishwasher to wash it, uhm.... You should apparently always remove any remaining soap from the handle first.

I had an I Love Lucy moment in the kitchen.

Suds... everywhere.

Ooh, soapy David, all covered in suds...

Oh, wait. You were probably clothed at the time.

(shifts uncomfortably in chair) Never mind.

hehehehe, this was great. Soapy David. yummmmmmmmmm. *faints*

LOL, I did the same thing at home. I put dishwashing soap in there instead of detergent. Of course, I lied. I'm sure they saw right through me.

It was kinda funny seeing the suds escaping onto the floor.

hey, it's not my fault. there were no warnings on the scrubber that said do not use in dishwasher without emptying first.

hmm... foam party. [[evil ideas]]

Well, I would've thought that dish soap would just make the dishes not so slippery or something. Like using soap on your hair--still cleans it! Just makes it ick.

But I didn't even think about the soap in the handle. It just really never even crossed my mind. Unfortunately, I called the landlord first to say the dishwasher was broken. Then I emptied it and saw the little rubber cover had popped off. That's when the light bulb went off. ...the d'oh heard 'round the world.

I should've... but I actually thought the dishwasher was broken and not draining or something, so I cleaned it up and called the landlord.
