gay flag

IMPORTANT - We can do this, but your action is vital

Bush has called himself a uniter. Well, for once, maybe he's right. So many diverse groups of people—both Democrats and Republicans—have come together, determined to restore the dignity to our country and to stop this administration from inflicting more harm to our nation.

The race is really close, and these numbers look good. The pollsters aren't counting the unreachable—students with university-provided phones who have registered in record numbers this year. They're not counting the people who have dropped their analog land lines (pollsters do not call cell phones).

We truly could be looking at a record turnout this year, and high voter turnout is never good for the incumbent.

We all need to make certain that we do not let this man, who has already vowed to continue his attacks on gay Americans, get back into office. But everyone needs to turn out. PLEASE do not waste your vote by forgetting, being too busy, etc.... PLEASE. This election is too important. Even if you don't plan to get married, someone you know does.

If you think there is any chance at all that you might not be able to make it, VOTE ABSENTEE NOW. For California, the application and information is at http://www.ss.ca.gov/elections/elections_m.htm. For other states, go to http://electionimpact.votenet.com/yourvotematters/.

Please send the above links to friends if you think they need them or might not go to the polls on November 2.

One last thing: very important alert for the Bush supporters in L.A. county (all 5 of you): Due to the increased risk of more terror alerts prior to the election, per the Department of Homeland Security, your polling location has been moved. For your own safety, all Bush supporters in L.A. county are to report to the end of the Santa Monica Pier on Election Day. Your ballots are located on the other side of the railing. Bring duct tape.
