WTF? You have to show up in person to renew your license? Here, in GA, if you have the same address, you can renew via web or by mail as long as it's done 30 days before the expiration date.

Once you hit mid-50's, I believe it is, you have to go in to pass a vision test in order to renew from that point forward.

You can only do that two times. After two online renewals, you have to go in for a new picture, vision test, and thumb print.

how rude! can you choose the type of license? here, we can either opt for a 4 year or 10 year license. the 4 year is of course half the cost of the 10 year.

No choices. Licenses are good for 4 or 5 years.

I constantly laugh while at the grocery store, where, while I'm standing in the produce section, I hear from the deli counter, "Now serving No. 529" ... I mean, really.
