And Part 2 won't record until 8/24
Okay, so I just watched "Degrassi" for the second time on the recommendation of a friend, despite it being a campy kid's show... (but then again, so is "Spongebob," so... what was my point?) Anyway, I decided to give it a second go on TiVo and picked this episode called "Pride," and it was.. this... and... such a cute story... and moving... and... they we... and gay... and... not sure... coming out.. and.. and I'm... I'm... all... and it's only part 1, and... and... it... *tear*

gimme a moment.

I'm getting verklempt...

talk amongst yourselves...

I'll give you a topic: President Bush is neither a shrubbery nor a president.

Discuss.

It seems to be all over the place, but from what I can tell from the guide I'm looking at now:

4.00p
4.30p
10.00p
10.30p

Channel 223 on comcast.

No, not Degrassiii!
I haven't ever seen the old or newly re-imagined Degrassi series, but it's nice for the positive cultural contribution values. This because, of course, it's a teen-targeted series is so progressive with gay characters and such.

A couple months I googled and researched it a tiny bit because someone told me I looked like one of the characters... which I can now say is a rather ridiculous comparison. haha

Marco?

(okay, I'll admit... that's the only name I remember from the show).

HAHAHA. My friends made me watch that show. It's not that bad, it's apparently a freakish show... where all the adults were actually the original kids on the original degrassi.

Since last season they've all gotten stylish haircuts (and the gay kid- Marco, is totally adorable in his first gay date episode)

Too bad I didn't have The N when I was 15 I totally would've dug that Canadian Melodrama... and it may have helped me out of some rough spots.

yeah.. ditto. I didn't even know I had The N. Actually, I don't think we did until recently. I seem to recall TiVo telling me the channel was added.

Canadians guys are so cute too. Too bad it's so cold up there!

I thought that word was spelled "ferklempt," but what do I know? I'm not a Jew.

Anyway, Canada has come up with better shows than Degrassi. **Motions towards "The Sausage Factory" (aka MTV's Now What?)**
Now talk about hot boys. Especially that one kid who's obsessed with Cornell.

me neither... not sure. All I know I learned on Coffee Talk and working for "Senior Summer School." And neither taught Yiddish spelling.

Record the one named "Pride." Well, I've only seen two, but that one was pretty cool with the whole coming out theme.

Degrassi TNG (the proper name as there was a Degrassi over 10 years ago) is an awesome show... it's been on Australian TV for quite some time. I'm aware of that episode, like most social issues they've handled the gay one with a surprising amount of information and sensitivity. The first show back in the 90s regularly skirted with censors because of their willingness to deal with controversial issues, but were popular because they were issues which actually affected teens

I'm in Canada atm btw :)

Until I see a pompous, bald-headed Frenchman, it will never be "The Next Generation."

But, Go Canada... this might almost make up for Celine Dion.
